Nav Varsha “Gudi Padwa / Ugadi” Ki Hardik Shubhkamnayein

The festive air beckons one and all as entire communities immerse themselves to celebrate "Gudi Padwa or Ugadi'' (New Year) falling on the first day of the auspicious month of Chaitra (2nd April, 2022) as per Hindu calendar. A combination of two words, "Gudi '' symbolises Brahma's flag and “Padwa” (also spelled as Padva or Paddava) means the first day of the bright phase of the moon. Indiakasa wishes all its customers a very blessed and productive year ahead.

May the sacred Gudi or Brahma’s flag ward off all evils and negativity.
May the bright aura of the moonlight fill our homes with love and happiness.

Bright green and yellow Gudis on the doors.
Lovingly hoisted over bamboo poles.
Adorned with neem and mango leaves.
The red garland of flowers bordering like a weave.
Those shinning crowns of copper and silver pots.
Complete the rituals in every home.
The decor heralds the beginning of our Nava Varsha.
Heavenly aroma of food and blessings permeating everywhere.
Entire clans throng these festive family gatherings.
To celebrate another new year and begin new journeys.
Festive new year wishes to all on Nava Varsha, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi.
